Danke für die Antwort,

leider geht der Patch nur mit 2.1.19 und ich habe ein RPM 2.1.21 RPM
installiert.

Habe nun 2.1.19 mit Pacht kompiliert und dann ohne "make install" 
Nun einfach die neue libsasl2.so.2.0.19 ins /var/lib getan (symlinks noch
angepasst) und nun geht es.
Danke. Hoffe es tauchen keine Probleme auf da cyrus-sasl2.1.21 per RPM immer
noch installiert ist und ich nur die LIB von libsasl2.so.2.0.21 nach
libsasl2.so.2.0.19  ausgetauscht habe.

In den Logs schein alles sauber.

PS: das Kompilieren war echt ein Krampf, nur Fehler. Musste ohne digetmd5
kompilieren (brauch ich aber eh nicht) und musste einen HEADER fixen:

Hinweis: Ach normale MD5 HASHs scheinen nicht zu gehen, aber zumindest
Passwörter die ich mit crypt erstelle.
Also nur (um in PHP zu sprechen):
crypt($plainpass, $salt);  // DIESES PASSWORT GEHT
md5($plainpass); // DIESES PASSWORT GEHT NICHT
