Hallo Liste,

ich benötige Rat bei einem unschönen (und leider Off-Topic, mea culpa! ) 
Problem, das ich auf Anhieb nicht so recht erklären kann (und mir den
letzten Nerv raubt! )

Wir haben mit einem „externen“ Mailserver Probleme, weil unsere Mails nur
sporadisch angenommen werden.
Gleich vorweg: ich haben keine Kontrolle über diesen Server, und es läuft
anscheinend QMail drauf (s.unten).

Das ganze sieht dann ungefähr so aus

Ein Telnet auf Port 25 von smtp.alcodi.pt ergibt:

Und manchmal bleibt der smtp banner einfach weg?? (prinzipiell gefragt: wäre
das überhaupt erlaubt?) Also sprich der Server meldet sich nicht mit dem 220
Greeting
und reagiert auch nicht auf EHLO oder HELO

Uwe Driessen kann das bestätigen wir hatten gestern mal kurz darüber
gesprochen.

Die Mails an diese Domain hängen dann ewig in unserer Queue drin, siehe
obigen Logfile-Auszug.

Das Problem an der ganzen Geschichte ist nun, dass andere Domains
anscheinend senden können. Ich habe eine Testmail von meinem privaten
Mailserver abgesetzt, die sofort bearbeitet wurde…
Auch diverse andere Testmails scheinen schneller durchzukommen.  


Gibt’s noch eine Möglichkeit aus unserer Sicht, die ganze Geschichte etwas
zu debuggen? Schliesslich muss ich ja unseren Usern erklären warum die Mails
zurück bouncen xD
