Das log_level in der smtpd.conf anzugeben, ist schon der richtige Ort.
Allerdings - und da hat es Dich wohl erwischt - sind log_level nicht
konsistent impementiert in Cyrus SASL.

Frag am besten Mal auf der Cyrus SASL Mailingliste. Die Tage soll auch
Cyrus-SASL.2.1.22 erscheinen. Vielleicht nimmt Alexeji sich noch die Zeit...
