[Postfixbuch-users] SMTP AAUTH will einfach nicht

hallo zusammen,
nach unendlichen recherchen wende ich mich hilfesuchend an
die liste. wie so viele hier, habe ich auch ein dickes
problem mit SMTP AUTH.
ich verwende folgende soft unter debian / stable:
- cyrus 2.1.15
- sasl2-bin 2.1.15
- postfix 2.1.4-2
- mysql 3.23.54
was funktioniert:
ich habe cyrus laufen und die authentifizierung laeuft ueber
saslauthd via mysql_pam.so auf die tabellen von web-cyradm.
soweit so gut :)
was nicht funktioniert:
schalte ich in der main.cf smtpd_auth ein, dann bekomme ich
keine verbindung zum smtpd hin und in der auth.log steht:
postfix/smtpd[29681]: fatal: no SASL authentication mechanisms
lasse ich mit saslfinger meine konfiguration ausgeben, dann
bleibt im part: -- mechanisms on localhost -- alles leer und
ich vermute hier liegt das problem ... aber ich komme seit
tagen nicht weiter.
was mir zum beispiel ueberhaupt nicht klar ist, ist wo die
smtpd.conf unter debian stehen muss. ich habe beim googlen
ziemlich viele varainten gefunden ...
wuerde mich sehr freuen, wenn mir jemand auf die spruenge
helfen koennte ...

-> die smtpd.conf habe ich auch in
/etc/postfix/sasl2/smtpd.conf kopiert
wenn weitere infos / logs etc. erforderlich sind , dann
reiche ich die natuerlich gerne rein!
